Parenting With Support
Parenting can feel like an impossible choice if you are concerned about finances, housing, school, work, or relationships. These concerns are valid, but many women are surprised to learn how much support is available.
Life Choices Community Pregnancy Clinic offers parenting support through our Earn While You Learn program, which provides education on pregnancy, childbirth preparation, parenting, and practical life skills. Participants can also earn “Baby Bucks” to spend in our Baby Boutique, which has essential items such as diapers, clothing, cribs, and more.
We also offer a fatherhood workshop featuring one-to-one coaching and weekly community groups that encourage and equip new fathers.
Adoption As an Alternative
If you do not feel ready to parent, adoption is another option to consider. It involves you carrying your pregnancy to term and selecting a qualified family to raise your child as their own.
Modern adoption allows you to choose the type of relationship you would like to have with your child and the adoptive family. Depending on your preferences, you may choose an open, semi-open, or closed adoption plan.
Adoption agencies also provide support throughout the adoption process and cover adoption-related services at no cost to you.
Get Pregnancy Confirmation
Before making your pregnancy decision, it is important to confirm key details.
A pregnancy test can confirm the presence of the pregnancy hormone hCG, but only an ultrasound can determine how far along you are, where the pregnancy is located, and whether the pregnancy appears to be viable.
